Success StoriesAt the age of nine months, I had fever. My parents consulted the doctor. However, fever did not subside. After a few days, my right leg did not function properly and hence I was not able to walk properly. I was taken to the doctor again who gave me medicines. After using the medicines, fever had come down. After a few days, I got the fever again. It did not come down for few days. In the meantime, alas my left leg also stopped functioning properly. I did not get well even after consulting many doctors. Finally, one doctor confirmed that it is Polio. My parents have taken me to many doctors, but no use. All this because, I was not administered Polio drops during my childhood. I have come to the conclusion that my legs will not become normal in my life time and I started walking with the help of under arm crutches. During July 2008, I heard through one of my student that there is a treatment in Nadi vaidyam to treat Polio. I have requested Nadi vaidyam practitioner to treat my Polio. They had kindly agreed and started the treatment. Initially, they studied my legs and the walking pattern for a few days. Thereafter, they had treated the nerves in my both the legs and spine for a couple of days. Subsequently, two bandages were put to straighten my legs. I could feel the blood circulation into the legs which was not there earlier. My calf muscles started slowly growing and to my pleasant surprise I started walking with just single fore arm crutch. Also, my body was bent on account of the usage of crutches earlier. They had treated the body as well through Nadi Vaidyam and also put bandages. Now my body also has become straight. With single crutch and straight back, I look good. All my friends and relatives are very happy about this. Till recently, I was brandedphysically handicapped. But now, people think that I am limping may be because of an accident. I was leading a life of despair and frustration. Now my life is fully of hopes and enthusiasm. All this thanks to Nadi Vaidyam team. I am ever indebted to them. R. Hema Rao « Back |
